I enjoy the contrast between fragile, hand-crafted work and that which is easily reproducible and often seen as disposable. I can mix the instant technology of riso with the rich tradition and skill of ceramic making. This relates to my interest in Celtic mythology and simultaneously graphic, extremely modern approaches through use of photoshop and rapid distribution. I want there to be a constant movement and dialog between the contrasting materials.
